Opening Introduction
"[I've seen women] who have just had an abortion, lie in the recovery room and cry, 'I've just killed my baby. I've just killed my baby.' I don't know what to say to these women. Part of me thinks, 'Maybe they're right.'" -- Abortion clinic Nurse, American Medical News July 12, 1993. Many a time, women who have had abortions immediately are full of sorrow for what they have just done. They are traumatized. Even former abortion clinic workers, who hold strongly to the pro-choice movement, are regretful of their past actions in assisting the abortion process. Pro-choice activists, who have not experienced the distressing sight of witnessing first hand abortions, continually argue their claims for supporting abortion. However, their claims are faulty, and must be refuted. So often they proclaim that they are relieving the world of many burdens by aborting babies. One of their reasons for this claim is that the world is already excessively populated with unwanted people. Besides that, there wouldn't be enough food for every one if all those babies were raised. Perhaps one main reason people are convinced that the world is inordinately populated is because we purposefully live under crowded conditions. However, the reason we live in such populated conditions is not because of a lack of land, but because we were made with a desire to have each other’s company (Campbell 27). As for the food issue, that is no argument at all. Greed is the attitude of our current generation. Because the supply of food is immensely grand, we, in America, eat more than is necessary for the human body. If the supply of food were lacking, then why do we have a profuse amount of people who are overweight in this country? The argument that abortion relieves burdens of over population and food supply is invalid and absurd.
How then, must Christians respond to the abortion movement? We must spread the truth that lies within abortion and uncover the vile deceit and unbiblical lawlessness surrounding every motive. The Dominion Mandate, established in Genesis 1:28, commands us to be fruitful and multiply. However, as 4,000 babies are murdered daily by abortions, abortionists willingly disobey this specific command found in His word. We mustn’t become the generation who sits back and allows ourselves to succumb to ignorance.
World View of Abortion
With every action carried out in life, there is also a worldview revealed. In abortion, whether consciously or subconsciously, women are flaunting the philosophies of feminism, egotism, humanism, and autonomy. There are major issues in such occurrences, when these autonomous philosophies intermingle. Yet there are even greater blessings when Christian influence prevails in the circumstance of abortion. For illustration, there was once a woman who was struggling with the decision of having an abortion. People all around her were persuading her that abortion would be the most convenient option. This woman, however, understood that the “tissues” inside of her were not only tissues and cells but was a living being taking the form of a child. Through much contemplation and battling with the opinions of people on both sides, pro-choice and pro-life, she made her decision. In time, she resolved to have the baby girl and put her up for adoption. Years later this baby girl, who was by God’s providence not aborted, became of age and had her own baby girl. As this new baby girl grew up into a beautiful Godly woman, God worked in her life. She became married, and now has 12 covenant children of her own who are growing in the fear and admonition of the Lord. If that woman, many years ago, had decided to abort her child rather than put the baby up for adoption, numerable lives would have never been, and there would be that many less disciples in the Kingdom of God. Because women are ignorant of the truths in abortion, they are easily persuaded and convinced that abortion is the most convenient option. The tragic thing is that these convinced women are subconsciously succumbing to the world view of first egotistical feminism, furthermore humanism, and, moreover autonomy. Actions define worldviews, and worldviews define people. Abortion is a worldview defining action. We must define abortion for what it truly is by way of the Biblical standard, rather than for what sly abortion activists lead us to believe.
Abortion and Feminism
What is right and wrong and how can that be determined? This is the question we often fail to ask ourselves. Every person in the world lives by a particular worldview, whether that person is aware of it or not. Innumerable women, who have and support abortions, are unaware of the worldview they are maintaining when allowing the termination of the life inside the womb. Some women, however, are proud to express this world view in their daily lives. Evidently, pro-choice activists are succumbing to the world view of egotistical feminism (Gunn Brothers). Randolph Clark cleverly states in his article on Abortion and Feminism, "Legal abortion and feminism have become almost inextricably linked, even equated, in most people’s minds" (1) Feminism is summarily the belief that women should have the same rights as men. Egotism, where feminism originated from, portrays the characteristics of self-importance and conceit. Consequently, the combination of the two is the philosophy behind abortion.
How, then, must we define abortion? There are two kinds of abortion that can be identified. The profound difference lies between voluntary abortion and miscarriages. Voluntary abortion is defined by the American Heritage Dictionary of the English Language as a, "Termination of pregnancy and expulsion of an embryo or of a fetus that is incapable of survival" (1). Whereas spontaneous abortion, also known as miscarriage, can be defined as "The premature, spontaneous [natural] expulsion of the products of pregnancy from the uterus, usually in the first trimester. Also called spontaneous abortion" (Mifflin 2.) The distinction that we ought to make is that voluntary abortions are humanly induced and contravene God's natural order. Spontaneous abortions, on the other hand, are part of God's natural order and sovereign will in the life of that woman. How, then, can we distinguish what is right from wrong, or whether abortion is murder or not? Simply put, we must refer to God's written word. The sixth commandment in Exodus 20:13 declares “You shall not murder" (Nelson 65). Because the woman contemplating abortion regards the child within her as her own property, she will persistently argue that it is not murder if you are destroying what is yours. Abortion however, whether given consent of the mother or not, has been considered by Biblical standards as murder (Rushdoony 263). Without referring to Biblical standards, all truth is lost. Therefore, if we read Exodus 21:22-25, whether or not abortion is murder becomes rather clear. "22 If men fight, and hurt a woman with child, so that she gives birth prematurely, yet no harm follows, he shall surely be punished accordingly as the woman’s husband imposes on him; and he shall pay as the judges determine. 23 But if any harm follows, then you shall give life for life, 24 eye for eye, tooth for tooth, hand for hand, foot for foot, 25 burn for burn, wound for wound, stripe for stripe." (Nelson 66.) Clearly this passage states that harming a woman with child, to the point that the child does not survive, requires punishment. This understanding is what makes it so astonishing that, in our current times, an average of around 4,000 babies are legally dispatched every day. Although countless people, such as humanistic abortionists, believe that right and wrong can be determined by way of feelings and conscience. In all truth, the only way in which to determine right from wrong is by referring to God's word, and God's word alone.
Abortion and Humanism
Because man is living postbellum, after the fall, we are originally sinful and can never attain perfection during our dwelling on this earth. When it comes down to it, all we can do is seek God's guidance and rely on His word to show us how to distinguish what is right from what is wrong. There are some, however, who believe quite differently. Some even protest that it is up to human contrivance to fashion truth (wiki. knowledge). This idea is entirely absurd because of the fact that we live in a fallen world. Therefore, all truth of man will ultimately be polluted and corrupt, if not founded in scripture alone. Humanism is distinctly defined as, "Philosophy. A variety of ethical theory and practice that emphasizes reason, scientific inquiry, and human fulfillment in the natural world and often rejects the importance of belief in God" (dictionary.com v. 1. 1). Humanists base their understanding of truth on nothing but conscience, feelings, and the understanding of the heart. Jeremiah 17:9 explains that right and wrong established from the heart is inevitably misleading,
"The heart is deceitful above all things,
And desperately wicked; Who can know it?"
(Nelson 678)
This passage is one that must be indignantly ignored in order for humanists like Corliss Lamont to believe that, “Conscience [is] the sense of right and wrong..." (Lamont, 252-253.) Evidently, Corliss Lamont believes that man gains the knowledge of right and wrong by way of feelings and conscience. Humanist, Harper Collins, states that Humanism is ultimately summarized as, "The rejection of religion in favor of a belief in the advancement of humanity by its own efforts." Without a doubt, the beliefs of many abortionists, if not all, are undoubtably linked to Humanism. That is under their common belief that the world can be advanced by human devising. Both Humanists and Abortionists deny the fact that man is of a fallen nature, and that God is sovereign over all. The belief of the humanists and abortionists that human advancement occurs by man's own efforts interconnects with the worldview of Autonomy in the sense that we are a self-governed people who have no need of God. Although abortion, humanism, and autonomy have their own aspects of beliefs, each one coincides together under the rejection of one imperative truth, and that is the truth that we live in a fallen world where man is practically ignorant without the righteousness of Christ working in every heart.
Abortion and Autonomy
As abortion is explicitly conjoined to humanism, because of their relative rejections of truth, in similar ways, abortion and autonomy bond together under their views of self-governed application to law. Combining abortion with humanism and with autonomy begins a downward slope to an increasing egotistical feminism, which proclaims the right of choice over obedience, or adherence to (God’s) law (Gunn Brothters.) Autonomy suggests that each individual is accountable to no one besides himself. The word autonomy is originally derived from the Greek term autonomy, which means: "independent, living by one's own laws" (Harper). Repeatedly, while the woman is playing the victim, the "choice" of the unborn child within her, who has been proven to be developing senses and growing all the while, is deliberately ignored. Suppose, however, that the child within her was conceived by some form of rape or incest, does this make the woman the ultimate victim? In such circumstances, the woman is assuredly a victim, this does not give her the right to end the life of the child forming inside her, who is also a victim to her own decisions. Many abortionists use the excuse that the baby in the womb is no baby at all, rather only cells and tissue, therefore it must not be considered murder. An anonymous pro choice activist, who was commenting on a forum at
www.allphilosophy.com/topic/889, made this statement that, "An unborn child is a collection of tissues within the mother, like an organ. Life begins at birth, when an individual is separated from the mother." Studies show however, that within a mere four weeks of the pregnancy the baby has a consistent heart beat. All evidence proves that life begins from the time of conception. Sadly, mothers are often influenced into having abortions by people who supply them with false information, causing the mother to make her choice out of plain ignorance. These people are influencing innumerable women into denying God and rather have a view of autonomy. In John 14:21 Christ tells us to keep God's commandments, which is God's law, not the law that our minds have contrived, since that law is ultimately polluted. The passage reads,
"He who has my commandments and keeps them,
it is he who loves me. And he who loves
me will be loved by My Father, and I will love
him and manifest Myself to him"
(Nelson 949.)
Autonomy protests that each individual is accountable to no one but himself. Truth has it, however, that man is accountable to God and will inevitably be judged by God on the final Judgment Day. With autonomy, abortionists frequently defend the right of self-governed law. In the end, this autonomic abortionist view denies God's sovereignty and rejects the ultimate truth of God's written law.
WorldView Concluded
No one in this world has gone through life without a certain worldview or bias, nor will anyone in the days to come avoid such a thing. The problem with many of the abortionists and pro-choice activists is that they are all portraying an unbiblical world view of hatred towards God and a desire to overrule God’s authority by way of science. They never strive to study scriptures for answers, but rather create their own corrupt answers. In a quite obvious way, egotistical feminism, humanism, and autonomy all connect to abortion and to each other. Now what must be understood is who has truly the ultimate authority.
Introduction to Authority and Truth
Do the unborn children in the womb have a right to life? This has been the question for years, even since the first major abortion movement in 1916 when the first U.S. abortion clinic was founded. The real question we must consider, though, is in what standard can we determine whether the baby in the womb is a living being or not? The only standard by which to determine is the standard of the Holy Scriptures. Because science is consistently man’s way of proving what is truth, it is inevitably insufficient. Man, who is of a fallen nature, cannot effectively prove anything without relying on God’s word. Although it is clearly stated in the Scriptures, man’s foremost inclination is to overcome God’s authority. While denying God’s sovereign authority, man also fails to note that every man, disabled or not, was made in the image of God. Even the men who founded America understood these truths, and sought to establish this worldview in our country, the United States of America. Tragically, the Declaration of Independence is persistently ignored even to the point of denouncing that all men were created equal. God’s word is truth, the sooner our country understands that, the better off we will be in the day of judgement.
Where God’s Authority Lies
And Jesus came and spoke to them, saying,
“All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.”
(Nelson 878)
Although this truth that God is in control should be undeniably noted, masses of people disregard this truth because they refuse to except any evidence that God even exists. How then can one know that God exists, where is the proof found? Abortionists struggle with this question because they are unable to realize the intrinsic beauty found in God's creation of the human being. Although there are copious amounts of babies who are not born due to abortion, those babies who do make it to birth are an excellent example of God’s existence because of the divine structure of the process. Psalm 8:2 articulates beautifully God's wisdom in the birth of infants,
"Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants you have ordained strength, because of your enemies, that You may silence the enemy of the avenger" (Nelson 475.) Along with the examples of nature, which is God's creation, proof that God does indeed exist is distinctly evident throughout the scriptures. Psalm 24:1, and countless psalms besides that, declare that the earth is the Lord’s.
"The earth is the Lord’s and all it's fullness, the world and those who dwell therein."
(Nelson 483.) Therefore, since we know that God exists, and has full authority over the earth, we must also know that He demands obedience to His will. God has a sovereign purpose for the lives of each one of His children. The shorter catechism question #1 asserts as followed, "[question] What is the Chief end of man? ... [answer] The chief end of man is to glorify God and enjoy Him forever." By having an abortion, one is preventing that child from following the chief end of man. Although this truth that God exists is substantially clear, people still deny His authority. Tragically, the more the authority of God's law decreases, the more abortions increase. With all these undeniable proofs, although abortionists consistently attempt to deny God's authority, the truth must not be denied that God has complete control and total authority over all the earth.
Imago-Dei; Man was Made in The Image of God
The image of God is beautiful, holy, righteous, sacred, glorious, and wonderful. No one who understands this can possibly wish to deny that man was made in this image. Surely enough, man was made imago-dei, which is greek for ‘Image of God.’ Because this fact stands true, it seems bewildering that any person would desire to destroy this image by having abortions. In the year of 1946, there was a case on abortion called the Inez Burns Case. This case was held in San Francisco, California. After a considerable amount of research, this case discovered that within one year, 16,000 babies were born while 18,000 babies were killed due to abortion. Although these numbers seem incredibly high, it has become profusely worse over the years. Within a short 12 years, from 1946 to 1958, the amount of babies being aborted ranged from 18,000 to 200,000 and increases ever still (Rushdoony 265.) Because man was made in the image of God, one wonders why the current multitudes of women are convinced that abortion remains the best choice for them? Studies of abortions in primitive societies show that the cause for abortion, a woman's revealed reason, is often proven to be a revenge against the father, a hatred of responsibility, a desire to avoid shame, an analogue to suicide, a hatred of life, a disregard for the beauty of Imago Dei, hatred of men in general, and only on occasion do women, who have the legal rights of this day, pursue abortions due to probable health issues for the mother (Rushdoony 266). Margaret Sanger, founder of Planed Parenthood, declared in a birth control review in the year of 1933, "Eugenic sterilization is an urgent need ... We must prevent multiplication of this bad stock." Sanger believed that the less privileged people are some form of "bad stock." This statement provides the understanding that Margaret Sanger, as well as her followers (i.e. abortionists), believe people born with disabilities to be no greater than animals. On the other hand, they believe people who have exquisite health to be even greater than God. By killing the baby inside the womb with no regard to who that child could be when he or she grows up, abortionists are relegating infants with animals, which we likewise freely slaughter. This standard for grouping mankind into classes goes entirely against scripture. Genesis 1:26 explains,
"Then God said, 'Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness...’" (Nelson 2.)
Notice that it says man as a whole was made in His image, not "only the people that are in perfect condition are made in My image, let us kill all retards." There is an obvious difference between man and beast. It is man's nature to have dominion over the animals of the earth, while it is animal’s nature to be under that dominion. Another distinction that we ought to note is that man was created with the capability to obey God's law, while animals are incapable of this. Humans, even disabled people, are able to be saved by the grace of God and to receive the Holy Spirit. Ultimately, man was made in the beautiful, holy, righteous, sacred, glorious, and wonderful image of God, whereas, animals were intended to remain under the dominion of mankind.
"All men are created equal"
How inconceivable it is that, although our country was founded on distinctly Christian and God-fearing roots, our modern America is so far from fearing God that we are to the point of even acting against the document that declared our independence. One of the most renowned and wonderful statements in the Declaration of Independence states as follows, "We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness" (Eliot 150). Abortionists believe in the right to choice. Essentially, this is the belief that the mother, who carries the baby inside her womb, has the right to choose whether or not to have an abortion. Although they consistently demand a woman's right to choice, they relentlessly deny the baby of it's right to life. If indeed "all men are created equal," what right does any person have, even the mother of the child, to abort God's children under any circumstance, whether the child is likely to be mentally or physically disabled or not? Those who support and perform abortions have no such right. Especially, since these children are not "possessions" of the mother, but rather all children are God's children given as a gift to the parents. Therefore, what rights of Life, Liberty, and even the pursuit of Happiness, are you then denying the baby who is aborted? Each of these Rights are being stripped away from all babies aborted by way of preventing that child's Life before the chance is available for the child even to live it. Likewise the baby's right to Liberty is endlessly reduced by not considering the choice the child would make if he or she was to be in the mother's position. The baby's right to the pursuit of happiness is similarly exterminated. By eliminating the baby inside the womb, all privileges of their rights, which begin at the time of conception, are intentionally prevented. Clearly, the rights of these babies are always eliminated from their possession. It remains extremely astonishing that, to this day, our modern America acts willingly against the Declaration of Independence by aborting numerous precious babies every day.
Authority and Truth Concluded
This truth is tragic, that so many women remain ignorant of what they are doing when they have abortions, even Christian women. Many of the women who have abortions are going off of their microscopic understanding of abortion, which is only what they are told from the abortion clinic workers. Innumerable women who have abortions are married and even at a practically capable income situation, but continue to be desiring an abortion due to the effect it might have on their social lives, the shameful judgement they might receive, or simply because it would be an inconvenience. To understand what ramifications may exist after having an abortion, one must first understand the true colors of abortion. Abortionists continually deny God’s sovereign authority, as well as the truth that man was made in the image of God, and reject the rights stated in the of the Declaration of Independence.
The Beginning of The End
When refraining from looking to God’s word as our guideline for truth, all understanding of truth is lost. Abortionists do not only refrain from seeking guidance from the Bible, but reject the truths of scriptures when they are presented to them. The doctors and nurses who perform abortions scheme and lie to the mothers seeking guidance on making the right decision. These doctors lie for their own agenda because it is their sin nature to do so. From the scriptures we learn that it is not only our duty to be fruitful and multiply (Nelson 2), but also to make disciples off all nations (Nelson 878.) How can we make disciples of nations if we are killing the very means by which to do so before the baby can have a chance to live? We must comprehend the true colors of abortion. While understanding that ugly truth, we must refer to scriptures as our sure foundation to understand that children are a gift from God. Abortionists must seek God’s forgiveness for their sin of murder and cling to Him for salvation.
The True Colors of Abortion
Although pro-choice activists earnestly believe that abortion is for the good of all mankind, countless abortion clinic workers, according to their first hand experience, determine differently, even to the point of admitting utter disgust of their prior occupation. Several forums exist on the web for pro-choice abortionists. Day by day they protest for the pro-choice side, which is ultimately abortion, that abortion is helping the world in some way or another. Those who support abortion tend to explain that they support the woman's right to choose because it should be the mother's decision. What they fail to consider is the reality that the child in the womb is constantly growing and forming into an individual human being. Statistics show that within 4 weeks the baby has a heartbeat and continues developing. Eight weeks later, the fetus inside the womb is entirely formed. By an early 32 weeks, all senses and organs of the baby are fully developed. The majority of mothers, if given the opportunity of viewing the baby within them through an ultrasound, will have an instant change of heart about pursuing the abortion. Judy, former office manager of the second largest abortion clinic in El Paso, Texas explains,"If a woman we were counseling expressed doubts about having an abortion, we would say whatever was necessary to persuade her to abort immediately." Abortion clinics across the world go to drastic measures to prevent the mothers from changing their minds about having the abortion. These women remain quite ignorant to the imperative facts. Kathy Sparks, formerly a clinic worker, admits the truth of how abortion clinics maneuver around the truth to persuade a mother to be set on having the abortion, "Sometimes we lied.” She explains, “A girl might ask what her baby was like at a certain point in the pregnancy: Was it a baby yet? Even as early as 12 weeks a baby is totally formed, he has fingerprints, turns his head, fans his toes, feels pain. But we would say, ‘It's not a baby yet. It's just tissue, like a clot.'" (Williamson 28.) Another argument, which pro-choice activists persist in restating to defend their point, is that the teenager who carries on to the point of giving birth is risking her mental sanity. Although a teenage pregnancy could cause hardship for a time, an assistant psychology professor at Bowling Green State University, Priscilla Coleman, after long terms of study and research, determined that teenagers who had abortions rather than following through with the birth were more likely to seek psychological support. Coleman observes, "Specifically, we found that only one adolescent who delivered an unintended pregnancy, for every five adolescents who aborted, sought counseling for psychological problems" (4075). This is a major fact that pro-choice protestors fail to realize, that there is a highly likely possibility that abortions are more harmful to women than giving birth. Because they cannot understand the extreme immorality that resides in humanity because of the fall, the significant problem with pro-choice activists is that they, unlike former abortion clinic workers and managers, fail to notice the true colors of abortion which are inevitably lies and deceit.
The Dominion Mandate
"Be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it;
have dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air,
and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
(Nelson 2)
In this passage, Genesis 1:28, God is commanding the first created man, and all men thereafter, to have dominion over the earth. Undeniably, God has complete and total dominion over the entirety of the earth, but has consciously delegated some of that authority to man, who was created to practice dominion under the headship of God (Rushdoony 448). Though God has delegated only a speck of His dominion to man, it is a great duty. Yet, because of our sinful nature, for centuries man kind has taken this ounce of power and dominion, and extolled the headship of man to be greater than God. God has not called us mortal beings to overrule His authority on earth, but to have dominion over His creatures under the headship of God Himself. When considering the Dominion mandate in Genesis 1:28, we must examine how that passage relates to the Great Commission in Matthew 28:19.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit” (Nelson 878.) God is commanding us to evangelize and spread the Gospel to further His kingdom. There are three main ways in which to do this. The first is to talk to people, tell them of the glorious things you have witnessed in your life. The second is to live your life as a testimony of His Glory. The third, most practical and efficient, is to have children and raise them in the fear and admonition of the Lord. One child could make all the difference in this world. If you abort this one child, you are disobeying God’s commandment to make disciples of all nations. To be fruitful and multiply, and then to disciple these fruits, is to further His kingdom. To abort each blessing God graciously provides, is to do the complete opposite. Abortion is in total antithesis to the scriptures. God was gracious to us to even allow us a speck of His authority by putting man in dominion over the earth, we must now never overrule His authority, but keep obedience to His word, though we are weak and unable.
Children are a Gift from God
God is full of mercy and forgiveness. Imagine this, there was a little girl. People loved to give her gifts. However, out of rebellion every time she was given a gift, she would not only return it immediately, but also cursed the person who gave it to her. Seems a little bizarre, does it not? However bizarre it seems, this happens every day in our modern culture, only at a much higher level. Every day, a multitude of women are given such a gift and blessing from God. However, they refuse to accept the gift by aborting the child. Then, they blame God for anything that goes wrong, such as accidentally having the baby.Though tragic, this is the ugly truth of our culture nonetheless. Psalm 127 reads,
“Behold, children are a gift of the Lord; The fruit of the womb is a reward. Like arrows in the hand of a warrior, So are the children of one’s youth. How blessed is the man whose quiver is full of them,” (Nelson 545.) Children are a gift from God, not a curse. Those who abort their Children, are cursing God for the blessing He is providing. 1.6 Million babies are aborted annually in the United States of America. That is 1,328,000 blessings from God that are rejected and cursed every year. Activists who support abortion, doctors who perform abortions, and women who have abortions, are all not only disobeying God’s law in the scriptures, but also deliberately rebelling against Him. That is not to say that God will not forgive those people. Every person in the world breaks His law every day. Because He is a merciful God, he will forgive, but we must come to Him and seek His forgiveness.
Final Argument Concluded
Abortion from the inside out is a disturbing topic because the true colors of abortion show it to be full of lies and deceit. Not only is abortion carried out through lies, which cause ignorance, but it is also a full rebellion against God because it is impossible for those who have abortions to fulfill God’s commandment of the Dominion Mandate and the Great commission. It is a known fact that children are a gift from God. Active abortion protesters, doctors who perform abortions and the women having the abortions are all cursing God’s blessing of children. These things being evident, we know that abortion is a sin. However, because God is full of mercy, he continually forgives our sin day by day. For this forgiveness, we must cling to Him.
Final Conclusion
Although abortionists may find clever ways to disguise the truth from uncertain women, all their claims for abortion are ultimately refuted through the Scriptures. We know that God is sovereign, and, in His sovereignty, He will conquer this unruly generation. When defining abortion for what it truly is, we take note that it maintains the beliefs of feminism, egotism, humanism and autonomy. God exists, man is made in God’s image, and, furthermore, man is of fallen nature. The Declaration of Independence defends the right to life, even for the unborn. When viewing abortion in it’s true colors, we can note the deceit that lies within the abortion clinic systems. Assuredly enough, the Dominion Mandate to be fruitful and multiply renders guilt in abortion. Finally, we must educate ourselves to know that because children are a gift from God, He is displeased with the murdering of His children through abortion. Ignorance is not bliss, but blindness. To avoid this blindness we must understand God’s commands in scriptures and apply them to our daily lives. Commands such as the dominion mandate found in Genesis 1:28. God has a plan for each of His children. We must educate the ignorant and end this mad insanity of murder, called abortion.
